JA's volunteers come from all walks of life which include business people, students, and retirees. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of the organization; they supply students with exposure to professional work and receive in return the satisfaction of contributing to the education of the students.

Becoming a JA Volunteer
It is the dedicated passion of our volunteers that brings JA to life. JA volunteers come from all walks of life. But they all have a common vision: sharing a message of hope and opportunity with every young person they reach. The dynamic interactions between the volunteer and the students promote active learning and bring theory to life.
Volunteers serve as role model to help young people better understand economic concepts in order to become successful in the workplace and in life.They make economic concepts relevant, fuel the entrepreneurial spirit, and challenge the students to excel. JA’s unique delivery system provides the training, materials, and support necessary to ensure a positive experience.
JA inspires young people to dream big. Be big. But we need your help to give students the skills they need to excel.
All JA Volunteers must agree to the JA Singapore Volunteer Conduct Standard Form.
Educators invite JA into their classrooms because JA volunteers and materials support teachers by providing an exciting learning environment that gives students a real-world perspective. JA programme contents align with curriculum standards to help teachers achieve their students' learning objectives.
Investors - Business, Foundations and Individuals support JA because it teaches students about economic and business and JA's positive impact is measurable. They understand the tremendous need for well - educated work force and the value of contributing to the future success of today's young people.
