Asia Innovation Challenge
What is “Asia Innovation Challenge”(AIC)?
To be successful in the global economy, one of the competencies youth are required to have is to be able to work with people having different values, cultures, and background and create the synergy to reach the goal in a team. “Asia Innovation Challenge” provides students with an opportunity to experience this process. The mission the students will challenge is to pick one Asian country from Cambodia, Thailand or Vietnam, and identify a social issue in any field, then develop a product, service, or business model which solves the issue or contribute to solve the issue. All of the working process is conducted on-line. Students from Singapore and Japan will partner to form a team to work together.

Through the process of “Asia Innovation Challenge”, students will develop the following competencies:
Who can join AIC?
Communication tool
Teams are allowed to use any communication tools such as Facebook, LINE, Skype, or anything preferred. Communication with contest administrator should be done via email and the Facebook page only open to the registered participants, so everyone needs to have a Facebook account.
The 1st winning team has an opportunity to travel to one of the target countries.

Who can join AIC?
- Age 15 to 19
- Students who are willing to work with Japanese students in a team
- 2 members per country per team; each team consists of 2 students from Singapore and 2 from Japan (total 18 teams)
- Students who agree to be photographed and videotaped for publicity of Junior Achievement and FedEx
- Students must submit pre and post survey
- Students must have email address and Facebook account
