JA Career Success ®​ ​

Students are equipped with the knowledge required to get and keep a job in high-growth industries.  Students will explore the crucial workplace skills employers seek but often find lacking in young employees. Students also will learn about valuable tools to find that perfect job, including resumes, cover letters, and interviewing techniques.​

JA Project Management  ​

This workshop is activity-based, practical-oriented learning. It helps students with important project management skills such as organize their work, understand the environmental constraints related to projects, and holistic approach to plan for projects.

JA CV & Interview Skills  

The JA CV & Interview Skills workshop provides practical how-to on writing a CV and on being interviewed.

JA Recruiting & Hiring  ​

​The Recruiting & Hiring workshop enables students to understand the “other side of the table” so to help them prepare for their CV and interviews.​

JA Leadership  

The JA Leadership workshop enables students to understand characteristics of leaders and develop their leadership skills.

JA Presentation Skills  

The JA Presentation Skills workshop introduces to students why presentation skills are important and how to improve their presentations.

LinkedIn 101 

The LinkedIn 101 workshop enables students to understand the different parts of a LinkedIn profile.  It also deep dives into the how exactly do we create a standout profile and what else can we do on the LinkedIn platform once we have a great profile.

JA Company Program ® ​

When students think they’ve learned enough to start their own business, they should! JA Company Program has students put theory to practice by developing their own money-making businesses, from concept to business plan, financing, execution, sales and, ultimately, growth or demise. The experience fosters understanding and appreciation of the personal opportunities and responsibilities each person has in the work-place.

JA Job Shadow ® ​

Just what does a politician do all day? Or a graphic designer? What does it take to start a career in the music industry? What do people do all day in those cubicles? JA Job Shadow— one of JA’s best known work readiness programmes— give students a “day-at the- office” experience by pairing students with members from their local business community.

JA Career Sharing ® ​

​The JA Career Sharing introduces to the students the world of work.  Just what does a banker or IT person do all day? What do people do all day in those cubicles? The programme will give students a “day-at-the-office” experience by pairing students with members from their local business community.
