Girls4Tech with Mastercard
Although our world today is becoming increasingly digital, women make up less than 15 percent of the professionals in these high-tech jobs, and only one in 20 girls opts for a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) based career.
To address this gap and inspire young girls to pursue STEM careers, we created our signature educational program, Girls4Tech, in April 2014. Through a curriculum built on global science and math standards as well as our expertise in payment technology and innovation, our program aims to teach participants curiosity, helping them develop an innovative mindset and solve everyday challenges using technology. Till date, the initiative has reached over 1 million girls in 30 countries, and we've successfully run multiple workshops in Singapore over the past 7 years.
