1. FedEx /JA International Trade Challenge – for Sec 3 to ITE/JC/Poly (ages 15 to 19)
We are pleased to invite your kids and their friends to participate in the FedEx / JA International Trade Challenge (ITC) 2021. FedEx / JA ITC aims to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and business skills of students. Students working in groups of 2 to 4, develop a market entry strategy plan to sell a specific product to a specific target market (a foreign country)
We have 1 open workshop left this Saturday 22nd May for students to learn more about everything that should be included in the market entry strategy plan. Interested students must attend the workshop to compete in the Challenge.

2. Young Technopreneur Challenge – for Sec 2 & 3 (ages 14 & 15)
We are pleased to invite your kids and their friends to participate in our Young Technopreneur Challenge. The Young Technopreneur Challenge, sponsored by HP Inc. and supported by South West Community Development Council (CDC), aims to support students to take ownership of the world they live in and actively develop solutions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Singapore Green Plan 2030 and Sustainable South West Masterplan.
We aim to interest, excite and provide students a unique platform to stretch their imagination and push their boundaries to learn to think global, innovate, create and pitch an idea or concept by making use of STEM and technology. We will also provide an opportunity for students to display their innovative ideas and passion through STEM workshops and to be guided by business mentors which will complement their learning journeys leading up to the competition presentation day.
The challenge consists of 3 bootcamps during June where students will develop their ideas, go through a rigorous design thinking process, research and prototype, as well as learn about the steps to becoming a technopreneur.
The challenge culminates in an expo event where students will showcase and present their ideas to a range of industry judges – winners possibly taking home funding to support the development of their idea.
Student participation criteria:
1. Secondary 2 & 3 (8th & 9th grade)
2. Register in teams of 4
3. Must have a laptop and internet connection. All bootcamps and the Innovation Exp & Presentation will be held using an online platform.
4. Permission from parents is required to participate using an online platform.

3. Online Cha Ching – For P3 & P4 (ages 9 to 10)
The Cha-Ching program takes an engaging musical narrative approach to teach children about four key fundamental money management concepts: Earn, Save, Spend and Donate.

Basic coding is a good introduction to students to computer science. We will teach students from Primary 5 to Secondary 1 basic coding from Code.org curriculum:

4. Minecraft Hour of Code
5. Intro to App Lab

7. 15K Competition – for SUTD / NTU / NUS students
JA Singapore and the MIT Club of Singapore are pleased to invite your university students at SUTD / NTU / NUS to participate in our inaugural 15K Competition. The 15K Competition is an entrepreneurship competition modelled on MIT’s $100K Entrepreneurship Competition. MIT’s $100K competition started in 1989 as the $10K competition. Then became $50K in 1996. And now, $100K. Today, the $100K is a huge annual event at MIT, with the Launch finals watched by thousands, and sponsored by a hosts of top class companies and foundations.
