FedEx / JA ITC Singapore Final 2016

On 9th July, 15 teams competed in this year’s FedEx/JA ITC Singapore Finals 2016.
The FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (ITC) is an unparalleled opportunity to broaden students’ understanding of global trade and to participate in an array of stimulating activities to enhance their knowledge of product distribution, competition, pricing, promotion and sales.
This year, JA Singapore received an overwhelming 101 submissions! There were many great product ideas and the plans were very thorough. The finalist teams presented their plans at the National Finals.
The students demonstrated outstanding creativity and entrepreneurial skills, where they were tasked with developing a market entry strategy plan to develop a market entry strategy plan to repurpose (recycle/reuse) jeans into a new innovative product/service to be sold in Indonesia.
The students were judged on their market-entry strategies detailing marketing, promotion, pricing, and product distribution plans.
